During this Hack&Talk, we take a long look into the crystal ball to see what’s going to change in online communication in 10 years.

Will our older selves use emails, messengers, and phones the way we do now? Is omnichannel communication going to consume old-fashioned ways of communication? How are customers from 2028 going to send feedback, report problems or ask for help? Will they talk with real people, or will AI take over the conversation?

For this one Hack&Talk day, turn into a fortune teller and convert a possibility into a reality.

<General_info/>

Task

Your task will be to create a fresh app or app extension for business communication. You can bring to life any idea you have, and build it the way you want. There’s only one rule: your project needs to be built for the year 2028 customers.

Event date

Saturday, March 24th 2018, from 9:00 AM till 9:00 PM

Registration

The registration for Hack&Talk closes on March 22nd at 12:00 AM, so get your skates on and sign up, if you haven’t done this yet!

Host

The hackathon is organized by LiveChat.

Equipment

B.Y.O.L – bring your own laptop.

Teams

From 1 to 3 people (e.g. designers, developers, testers). You don't have your team? Don't worry! You can build one with other lonely wolves during the registration.

Technology

Any language that can support websocket connection (such as node.js, Go, PHP, Python, Java, or C#).

Entry fee

Event is free of charge.

But even if you don’t feel like this Hack&Talk makes your heart beat faster (or you don’t know if you’re ready for hackathons), join us during project presentations. We’ll be happy to meet you and who knows, maybe next time you’ll decide to participate!

The lucky winning team will get 2000PLN for each team member. The 2nd place will be rewarded with 1000PLN and the 3rd with 500PLN for each team member.
